Tiny Space, Big Style: My Favorite Mini Makeover Yet

Tiny Space, Big Style: My Favorite Mini Makeover Yet

By: Southern Hospitality Company

There’s a small alcove just off my kitchen that’s always felt a little…unfinished. I had all the elements I loved—blue and white ceramics, a few favorite art pieces, and some faux hydrangeas—but the space still didn’t feel quite right. It’s deeper than it looks, and despite the décor, it lacked that sense of cohesion and purpose.

On a whim, I tried peel-and-stick grasscloth wallpaper—and it completely changed the game. I didn’t expect much from a ten-minute DIY, but the difference is striking. Suddenly, the alcove feels elevated, warm, and thoughtfully designed.

It’s one of those tiny updates that brings joy every time I walk by.

I’ve linked everything I used in case you’ve got a little nook waiting for its moment too—from the faux florals to the grasscloth wallpaper, and even the light above the painting.
