The Ultimate Galentine’s Day Pajama Party
By: Southern Hospitality Company

Every year, I host a Galentine’s Day celebration with my closest friends, and each time, I love adding new details to make it feel fresh while still holding onto the heart of the tradition: celebrating the extraordinary women in my life. This year, I decided to go for a cozy and chic pajama party, and let me tell you—it was an absolute dream. Think bubbly champagne, espresso martinis, sweet treats, and an atmosphere brimming with warmth and laughter. The details all came together in a way that was equal parts elegant and relaxed, and the result was a night I’ll never forget.
Pajamas That Set the Tone
Let’s talk about the pajamas—because honestly, they were the heartbeat of the night. I chose Quiet Culture’s pink pajama set, and they were simply everything I was looking for. The fabric was soft and breathable, but with just enough stretch to make them feel luxuriously comfortable, like a gentle hug from your favorite blanket. The top had these 3/4-length billowy sleeves, trimmed with a playful red piping that elevated the whole look. And those pants? They were everything. With a high-rise waistband, wide, flowing legs, and deep pockets (yes, pockets!), they felt effortless and breezy, yet oh-so-chic. I couldn’t resist slipping into these beauties, and neither could my friends. They were comfortable enough to wear all night, but stylish enough to make us feel like we were at the height of pajama party glamour. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time a pajama set made me feel so cute and cozy at the same time.
I also wanted to make the whole pajama experience extra special, so I created little homemade gift bags for each of my friends. I picked up pretty pink bags, tied satin bows to the front for a little flair, and added personalized Galantine’s Day tags that we create in our shop. The gift bags contained their pajamas and matching slippers, so everyone had the full cozy experience right from the start!

Champagne & Espresso Martinis: The Best of Both Worlds
What’s a Galentine’s celebration without champagne? For this special occasion, I went all out and chose Ca’ del Bosco Franciacorta Champagne, one of my all-time favorites. This Italian bubbly is everything I love about champagne—light, crisp, and effortlessly smooth, with delicate, persistent bubbles that give it such a celebratory feeling. The moment I popped open the bottle, the air filled with the sound of fizz, and I knew the night was about to take a glamorous turn. I served the champagne in tulip-fluted glasses, which are perfect for maintaining the champagne’s effervescence. The wide bowl lets the bubbles rise slowly, while the narrowed rim helps keep the fizz intact longer. Plus, it helps focus the aromas, making every sip a little more enjoyable. We poured the Ca’ del Bosco into these glasses, watching the delicate bubbles rise, and toasted to friendship, laughter, and memories. The champagne remained chilled in my stainless steel monogrammed party bucket, but didn’t last long!
While the champagne was flowing, I also wanted something a little more indulgent after munching on light hors d’oeuvres to keep the party vibe going strong. Enter the espresso martinis. Using my Breville espresso machine, I brewed rich, aromatic espresso and mixed it with coffee liqueur and vodka. The result? A creamy, velvety drink that was indulgent without feeling heavy. It had just the right amount of caffeine to keep the conversation flowing and the energy high, perfectly complementing the champagne and setting the tone for the rest of the evening. (Oh, and if you’re looking for the perfect martini glasses for your next celebration, I’ll just say—these ones were the perfect touch to serve them in!)

A Festive, Yet Cozy Atmosphere
When it came to decorating my home, I wanted everything to feel warm, inviting, and undeniably festive—like we had stepped into a dreamy, pink-and-white wonderland. The space was filled with lush floral arrangements that seemed to bloom everywhere you looked. Peonies, roses, hydrangeas, and delicate berries were thoughtfully arranged in vases around the room, filling the air with a fresh, floral fragrance. The pink blooms added just the right touch of romance, while the white flowers kept it feeling light and airy. The whole room looked as if it was kissed by spring.
To complement the florals and add some sparkle, I dressed the table with a shimmering pink tablecloth, setting the perfect foundation for my decor. The table was graced with elegant gold-based glass hurricanes that held soft white candles, casting a warm, inviting glow. The combination of gold and pink felt sophisticated yet playful, setting the tone for the night.
A big highlight of the decor was the pink balloon backdrop and heart balloon wall I created with the help of my balloon pump. It added such a fun and whimsical element to the evening. I enhanced it with white bows and strategically placed long balloons that framed the space perfectly, making for a stunning photo backdrop that everyone couldn’t resist.
To add to the cozy, welcoming vibe, I scattered pink gingham pillows alongside soft light pink velvet pillows on the couch, making it impossible to resist sinking into them. And to really make everything feel personal, I threw in a few of our Southern Hospitality Company personalized pillows. These little touches made the space feel like a warm hug, and it was the perfect setting for an evening filled with laughter and heartfelt moments.

A Bar Cart to Remember
No party is complete without a well-stocked bar, and this year, I went all out with a gold bar cart that practically begged to be admired. It was dressed up with champagne flutes that sparkled in the soft light, a few cocktail napkins with my monogram, and extra bottles of bubbly waiting for their moment to shine. The gold accents of the cart contrasted beautifully with the soft pink tones throughout the room, making it feel like a statement piece. Every time someone went for a refill, it was an opportunity to toast, chat, and create a little more magic in the air. It was a functional focal point that added an extra layer of elegance and charm to the evening.

Beautiful, Scrumptious Heavy Appetizers
No party is complete without delicious food, and I made sure to create a spread that was both indulgent and visually stunning. Here’s what I served, all made from scratch, and honestly, they were as beautiful as they were delicious:
- Almond Torte: A delicate, nutty almond torte that was moist and rich without being overwhelming. The flavors were beautifully balanced with a light dusting of powdered sugar, and it looked gorgeous on the table. This cake has the perfect combination of elegance and simplicity, making it the perfect Galentine’s dessert. Recipe linked here
- Charcuterie: I served an assortment of cheeses, cured meats, marinated olives, and fresh fruit on a laser-engraved wood cutting board that added a rustic, yet personal touch to the spread. The engraving on the board made it feel extra special, and it looked gorgeous against the soft pink and white decor of the room. You can make it as simple or as elaborate as you like, but the rustic wood base added such a lovely touch.
- Caprese Skewers: These bite-sized beauties were arranged on a long platter—juicy cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, and vibrant basil leaves drizzled with balsamic glaze. They looked colorful and fresh, with that perfect pop of red, green, and white. A great way to add some light, refreshing bites to balance the richness of the other appetizers.
- Wedge Salad with Herby Dill Parmesan Dressing: This wedge salad was an unexpected hit. Crisp romaine lettuce, paired with a creamy, zesty dill parmesan dressing, was topped with crispy bacon and finished with a sprinkle of fresh herbs. It added a touch of freshness and decadence to the spread while also serving as a light, satisfying option among the heavier appetizers.

Thoughtful Gifts & Sweet Treats
One of my favorite parts of any gathering is the chance to show my friends how much they mean to me, and this year, I had a few personal touches up my sleeve. Each friend was gifted a personalized makeup pouch, lovingly embroidered with their name, along with these adorable pink heart glasses from Mod Party. If you’re looking for the perfect party favors, bridesmaid gifts, or just a fun way to spoil your girlfriends, Mod Party is your go-to. These heart-shaped glasses, with “babe” written on the corner, added the perfect playful touch to our night. Every sip of champagne felt just a little bit more festive with those glasses in hand.
And because no Galentine’s Day party is complete without treats, I had the most gorgeous pajama cookies from Highland Park Pie Lady waiting for us. The owner, Reggie, makes the most stunning, colorful custom cookies that are almost too pretty to eat (but we ate them anyway). You can check out all of her colorful and creative designs on her Instagram, where she shares her latest edible masterpieces. Not only were the cookies beautifully decorated—each one a tiny work of art—but they were also delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness. We nibbled on them throughout the evening, savoring each bite while sipping our drinks and sharing stories. These little cookies became the perfect complement to our evening of indulgence.

Sip or Spill: A Game That Brings the Fun
What’s a pajama party without a game to loosen everyone up and get the laughter rolling? This year, we played Sip or Spill, which was the perfect icebreaker. It’s like Truth or Dare, but with a twist. You draw a card that asks a personal question—think “What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?” or “Who was your first celebrity crush?”—and you have two options: take a sip of your drink or spill the tea and answer the question. It was a great way to get everyone talking, laughing, and maybe even revealing a few secrets. The game set the tone for a relaxed, fun evening, and the hilarious answers were definitely a highlight.
A Night to Remember
Looking back, this Galentine’s Day pajama party was everything I dreamed it would be—and then some. It was cozy, stylish, and filled with thoughtful touches that made everyone feel loved and appreciated. From the champagne to the sweet treats to the personalized pillows, every detail contributed to making the evening unforgettable. If you’re thinking about hosting your own Galentine’s celebration, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s the perfect excuse to honor your friends, create memories, and share in the joy of being surrounded by people who make your life so much better. Here’s to more pajama parties, laughter, and unforgettable moments with the amazing women in our lives.
